It's easy to find joy when everything is going our way. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and life is good. But what about when things are tough? When the world seems like it's against us and we can't seem to catch a break? That's when we need faith the most. In this blog post, we will be exploring how to find joy on the hard days by looking at the story of Noah in the Bible. He faced some pretty tough challenges, but he had faith that God would provide for him. If Noah could have faith in difficult times, then so can we!
Hebrews 11:6-7 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.
Noah was living in a time when the world was full of sin. Keep in mind, Noah had never seen rain. He had never experienced a flood. He was operating and preparing for tomorrow. God saw that the people were wicked and decided to destroy everything with a flood. But Noah found favor in God's eyes, and so he was instructed to build an ark to save himself and his family from the coming disaster. This must have been a daunting task, but Noah had faith that God would provide for him. He obeyed, and as a result, he and his family were saved from the flood. Can you even imagine the boat Noah was building in you town today?
Genesis 8:1 Then God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the animals that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided.
We can learn a lot from Noah's story. When the world is against us and things are tough, we need to remember that we can have faith in God. He will never leave us or forsake us, and He will always provide for us. So on those hard days, let's remember to have faith and trust in God. He will see us through anything! We can see the challenges of Christ. Was Noah's Faith different than ours?
Romans 12:12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
Finding joy on the hard days is possible when we have faith in God. He will never leave us or forsake us, and He will always provide for us. So on those days when the world seems against us, let's remember to have faith and trust in God. He will see us through anything! Thanks for reading! I hope this was a help to you. God bless!
