Spicy Pumpkin Hummus





It's pumpkin time. But then I pretty much think it's always pumpkin time. ๐Ÿ˜


This hummus recipe makes a great dip, snack, or it can be used as a surprisingly yummy condiment on top of burgers or whatever else comes to mind!






(serves 6)

โ— 1 cup (240 grams) canned pumpkin puree

โ— 1 15-oz (425 gram) can cannellini beans, rinsed and drained

โ— 2 tbsp tahini

โ— Juice of half a large lemon

โ— 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

โ— 3 garlic cloves, minced

โ— 1 tsp cumin

โ— 1ยฝ tsp nutritional yeast flakes

โ— 1-2 dashes of hot sauce or sriracha (to taste)

โ— ยฝ tsp. smoked paprika, plus extra for serving

โ— Kosher salt, to taste


Place all the ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. Taste and adjust seasonings. Serve & enjoy!
