Do you feel like your life is in chaos and you don't know where to start? The first step to a magical transformational experience is to clear the clutter in your life. Excess physical clutter clutters the mind, and your external world is a reflection of your internal world. In this blog post, we will go through three crucial areas of your life that you can clear clutter from to set the stage for moving forward in your life and career.
Clearing the clutter is a quick, simple, and profound exercise that produces amazing results. The theory behind this is that you have to clear out the old furniture before you can bring in the new. If you're redecorating your living room, you've got to get rid of that old couch before you bring in the new one. You can't just put the new one on top of the old one.
Sometimes, the dilemma between keeping things clear and cluttered arises because of the tendency to hoard special items, but the anxiety that comes with it looms. However, I believe that the benefits of clearing the clutter and the resulting relief from anxiety make the effort worthwhile. Decluttering helps you to focus on what truly matters and create a space that is conducive to growth, creativity, and productivity. It can be a challenging process, but the benefits are well worth the effort.
My top suggestion is to turn to prayer when I'm unsure of what action to take. I ask God to provide guidance and help me organize the thoughts in my mind. Here are a few points to ponder to start your creative thinking on where clutter might bi in your life.
Clutter Clearing Area #1: Your Environment
Your work environment will either limit or support your success. It's time to clear out the old clutter and make way for new ideas, new connections, training, and opportunities that you'll receive in your career. There are five areas where you can clear clutter in your office or workspace, whether that's at home or at a job, or both:
Clearing off your desk of paper piles, receipts, bills, anything that needs to be filed.
Removing piles of magazines, papers, or projects from your office or closet floor.
Removing piles of stuff from your bookshelves and making sure your books, photos, and knickknacks are neatly and attractively arranged.
Unsubscribing from at least five electronic newsletters that you never seem to find time to read.
Cleaning out your inbox of clutter and any messages older than two weeks.
Clutter Clearing Area #2: Your Schedule
One of the most important places we can clear clutter is in your schedule and your calendar. There isn't time for everything, but there is time for the most important things. Your training is one of the most important things, and in a health coach program, it will be five to seven hours a week. So how can you clear clutter from your schedule so you have the time that you want and need for both this training and the other important things in your life?
There are four ways to clear clutter in your schedule:
Look out over the next seven days. If your calendar as a whole feels too overwhelming, let's chunk it down into a smaller chunk and look at the next seven days and say, what's one activity you can say no to or cancel? And you want to look for events that you might be dreading or that you're going to out of obligation.
Consider delegating some tasks or outsourcing them.
Combine similar tasks or errands.
Consider a digital detox and limit your time on social media, email, and other electronic devices.
Clutter Clearing Area #3: Your Relationships
Your relationships can either energize or drain you. It's time to clear out any toxic relationships and make room for positive, uplifting ones. There are three ways to clear clutter in your relationships:
Identify any relationships that are toxic or draining and create boundaries around them.
Nurture positive relationships by spending more time with the people who uplift you.
Let go of any resentments or grudges you might be holding onto.
Clearing the clutter is a crucial step towards a magical transformational experience. It's time to clear out anything that might stand in your way of becoming a better you. Remember that excess physical clutter clutters the mind, and your external world is a reflection of your internal world. By clearing out the old, you make way for the new and allow for positive change to take place in your life.
You can use your personal decluttering journey to inspire you towards creating a more meaningful and fulfilling life. Start small, and gradually work towards a clutter-free life that brings you peace, joy, and abundance. Remember, a clear space equals a clear mind, and a clear mind is essential for achieving your goals and living your best life.
